Pictures of Addison and a Rainbow

It is now Saturday evening, and we have made it home safely. Addison is eating well and we had to change an outfit after being home for only thirty minutes, and a sheet this afternoon. Steph is now joking about the delivery (ask her about the home run some time and her attitude change (trust me, it's funny!)).

We want to thank everyone for their well wishes and everyone who stopped by or sent a gift to the hospital. We are getting some rest and are grateful to have so many caring friends and family members. Thanks to my mom and dad for coming up and seeing their new granddaughter so quickly. It means a lot to all of us.

Here are some pictures of Addison, mom, dad and everyone who came to hold "Baby Meyer". I also added a picture of the beautiful rainbow that graced us on Friday evening. It was a full, rainbow, with a double rainbow on one end. A fitting, and relaxing end to this wonderful ordeal.

Auntie Anna is happy to see another baby in the family, one that she won't have to take care of on a daily basis! :)Dad got Addison dressed and ready for departure on Saturday morning.. Friday's Rainbow... We must be holding the true treasure at the end of the rainbow...Mom is free of the bed, the hospital gown, the IV's, the nurses and ready for the journey into motherhood.
