Addison "Race" Ready For Prime Time

While we were at the off road race in Crandon, Wis., we stopped by our friends from the Eagle River Derby Track's race shop. Dad felt like it was a great time to corrupt young Addison "Race", so he put her into one of the Decker's go-karts. Mom wants these pictures destroyed. This is dad's favorite picture to date:
Addison did weigh in at 13lbs 11 ozs at her four month check-up. She's growing like a weed, but not too fast!!!
Adios.

Meyer Family Cabin Trip

Hello all!

I know it's been a while and i will work on putting the past couple months of pictures up over the next couple of days, starting with the annual Meyer Family Cabin Trip to Deer River, Minn. in August.
Addison is doing great. She's started sleep through the night on Labor Day weekend. Started rice cereal around the same time. She's in daycare now while mom is back to work, teaching second grade this year.

She's still a million smiles and is really trying to sit up now. All is good, even with winter coming.

See you you,

Jeremy and Steph.

Baseball and Gooseberry

It was all about the outdoors for Addison this past weekend. She made her first trip to Gooseberry Falls on Saturday (we were able to miss all of the scattered rain drops). She slept through most of it, but liked being outside. Then she went to her first baseball game last night with a trip to Wade Stadium for the Duluth Huskies (Huskies lost 4-2). Thanks Auntie Marj for the tickets!

Addison Meyer - All Smiles

Addison Rae has had a busy summer. She went to her second off-road truck race with daddy, celebrated the fourth of July, had her Baptism, went Charlie and Bev's cabin and has been growing like a weed. She is all smiles and so much fun! Here are some new pictures.

Later, Jeremy

Addison is starting to smile a lot. She is one happy baby.

She's getting lot's of tummy-time and is wide-eyed throughout the process.

Happy Fourth!

Addison went to the TORC Bark River race supported the Hord Racing Team
Of course, proper ear protection for a six-week old!

Her baptism gown. The same one that her mom wore.
Cousin Bella (Meyer) got to hold Addison at the Baptism
And Cousin Annika (Meyer) also took a turn at Addy.

She didn't cry at all during the church service or the Baptism, even when the water was poured on her head.

L. to R. - Godfather Chris (Meyer - Jeremy's brother), Godmother Anna Bell (Steph's sister), Father Jim, Mom, Addison and Dad
Up next: Addison's trip to Grand Rapids for a family fishing trip.

Growing Too Fast!

Back, upon popular demand, (or just plain DEMANDS!), new photos of Addison Rae. She's had a busy first six weeks of life, including a trip to the zoo, her first race (an off road truck race in Crandon, Wis.), her first Fourth of July and her baptism.

She has started smiling at Mom and Dad, and is growing like a weed. She is really starting to notice things around her and is reaching for blocks and toys all the time. She actually has flipped herself over from back to stomach, something that scares both of us.

I'll get some Baptism pictures up later this week, but these should hold off the growing tide.

Thanks again to everyone and their generosity,

Jeremy and Steph

Addison's ready for her first off road race and is sporting the AMSOIL colors.

Addison and Dad ready for a day at the office.
Addison takes her first bottle. Mom is REALLY, REALLY happy about this accomplishment.

We are going to do the Teddy Bear Test. Take a picture next to a Teddy Bear every month and see how she grows.

Addison is all smiles about the Fourth of July.

The cousin's (Chris and Annette's Clan), get a chance to see their new cousin before the baptism.

Hope everyone's having a good summer.

Two Week Update

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in getting this thing updated, but what an adjustment to life we've been experiencing.

Addison, (and mom), is doing great. She had her two week appointment on Monday and now weighs 7lbs 14ozs (up from 6-12 at birth) and is 21 1/4" long (up from 19.5). She is spitting up and going through diapers like, well, a newborn. Sleep has been pretty consistent. Only a couple of somewhat restless nights, but overall she is sleeping for good stretches.

We are both amazed at how reactive she is and how much she has changed in just a couple of weeks. She is already flipping herself over when "tummy time" is going on (from stomach to her back). She has been a traveling fool as well, going to school with mommy, daily walks and even took her first pontoon ride at Jim and Bette's last Friday when we went down to see her cousins, Spencer and Ethan.
This weekend, Addison gets the chance to attend her first race with Daddy at the TORC (off-road trucks) race in Crandon, Wis. Should be fun and we'll have pictures next week.

Hope all is well with you and much thanks to everyone for their kindness.

Here are some new picts and we will talk with you all soon.
Jeremy and Steph

Great Grandma Meyer and Addison

The first bath.
All clean and content! Great Uncle Tom (Meyer)
Great Auntie Sue (Meyer)
Cousins Spencer and Ethan getting a first look at Addie. Spencer takes a fishing break to hold his new cousin.
Ethan was super excited to see Addie.
The crib doesn't look that big, but once you put a little girl in there, there is a lot of room to move. Addisons' first pontoon ride. Now we just need to get her in the fishing boat!

Pictures of Addison and a Rainbow

It is now Saturday evening, and we have made it home safely. Addison is eating well and we had to change an outfit after being home for only thirty minutes, and a sheet this afternoon. Steph is now joking about the delivery (ask her about the home run some time and her attitude change (trust me, it's funny!)).

We want to thank everyone for their well wishes and everyone who stopped by or sent a gift to the hospital. We are getting some rest and are grateful to have so many caring friends and family members. Thanks to my mom and dad for coming up and seeing their new granddaughter so quickly. It means a lot to all of us.

Here are some pictures of Addison, mom, dad and everyone who came to hold "Baby Meyer". I also added a picture of the beautiful rainbow that graced us on Friday evening. It was a full, rainbow, with a double rainbow on one end. A fitting, and relaxing end to this wonderful ordeal.

Jeremy, Stephanie and Addison Rae

Auntie Anna is happy to see another baby in the family, one that she won't have to take care of on a daily basis! :)Dad got Addison dressed and ready for departure on Saturday morning..
